Michael Koundouris Works With Aboriginal Work Force To Complete Projects

Michael Koundouris of the family owned Koundouris Group recently completed the Jameson Apartments with the help of aboriginal workforce groups.

The Koundouris Group recently finished work on the Jameson Apartments, a unique development that featured the skills of aboriginal workforce groups.  All apartments were rented almost immediately, making the Jameson another unqualified success for the Koundouris Group.

As seen at http://www.infinitycanterbury.com.au/page_team.php, the General Manager of Pacific Services Group Holdings or PSGH, Mark Coleman, was invited to deliver an address on behalf of an indigenous business on engagement of aboriginal groups.

Debbie Barwick of the New South Wales Indigenous Chamber of Commerce or NSWICC and Victor Dominello, Minister for Aboriginal Affairs NSW, recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding that outlined the agreement to increase engagement between Aboriginal groups and the government andym to promote opportunities for employment.  This event was held at The Jameson Apartments and highlighted the work of aboriginal employees who were engaged to work on the construction site through the help of PSG Holdings.

The Koundouris Group expressed pride in their work with these Aboriginal business associates.  "We are we proud to complete these beautiful apartments, but we are also excited about the opportunity to work with PSG Holdings and support the work of Aboriginal businesses in New South Wales.  By combining our strengths, we were able to create a beautiful product that will be home to many happy families and will once again highlight our commitment to quality commercial and residential construction," notes Michael Koundouris, Construction Manager for the Koundouris Group.  "We look forward to working again with Aboriginal business owners through groups like PSG Holdings."
